MORE ABOUT ME
Adriana Delgado-Loyola is a principal and managing director in a construction and real estate business in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Growing up in Mexico City as one of six siblings, Adriana learned the value of helping those less fortunate. From a young age, she was actively involved in her local community, believing that small actions can make a significant difference, whether by assisting a neighbor or supporting local initiatives.
As a thirty-year resident of San Miguel de Allende, Adriana has made numerous contributions to the community, from fundraising for children's homes to providing dormitories, sports fields, and sponsoring education for young women to pursue higher education. As a founder and former board member of Casa Hogar Corazón Valiente, she raised funds to establish a home for abandoned girls. She also helped launch the “Break an Egg–Hatch an Education” project, sponsored by the Little Things Matter Foundation, where income generated from chicken farming supported the children’s educational activities. Additionally, Adriana mentors students through Jóvenes Adelante, a nonprofit that provides scholarships and essential resources for first-generation Mexican students pursuing higher education.
Adriana also established Las Pequeñas Cosas Importan in Mexico, the sister organization of the Little Things Matter Foundation, where she serves as an inaugural board member. She holds a Master’s degree in Architecture and New Urbanism.
In her youth, Adriana spent summers at camp in the Pocono Mountains. An avid lover of the outdoors, she enjoys hiking, biking, and camping, sharing these activities with her nieces, nephews, and the young people she serves.
