A New Season of Leadership at Ojalá Niños
With gratitude and great anticipation, Ojalá Niños is honored to announce the appointment of Athaliah Cantú as our new Executive Director.
Athaliah brings both professional excellence and a deep heart for service. With a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture and extensive experience in administration, logistics management, budgeting, team leadership, and strategic coordination she has successfully led multidisciplinary teams and built collaborative partnerships across nonprofit, private, and community sectors.
But beyond her professional credentials, Athaliah brings something equally important: alignment with our mission and shared values.
Her experience supporting educational initiatives for vulnerable children and serving in leadership roles within faith-based camps reflects a lifelong commitment to guiding children and youth in safe, nurturing environments She leads with integrity, compassion, and a shared values-based leadership approach that strengthens both people and systems.
As Ojalá Niños continues to grow, we are entering a season focused on sustainability, expanded impact, and deeper community partnerships. Athaliah’s operational strength, strategic thinking, and relational leadership position us to steward donor support with excellence and amplify the transformation happening in the lives of children and families.
